Emotional Granularity is the ability to differentiate between specific emotional states.
And it’s associated with better coping with intense emotional experiences, such as faster recovery from stress and better school grades.
Emotions are complex and often intertwined, but can you have a go at listing as many emotional states as you can?
You might find there are important but subtle differences between certain emotions.
The more we talk about emotions and the bigger our emotional vocabulary is, the more coping skills we have to be able to deal with life and whatever comes our way.
