INEOS GO HUMANS ACADEMY 2024 DESIGN COMPETITION
Please read these terms and conditions (“Terms”) carefully. The Terms contain important information. By participating in this Competition, each participant declares to agree to the applicability of the Terms.
PROMOTER
The Promoter is: Ineos Group Limited (trading as INEOS), a limited company registered under the company number 03534631, with its registered office at 38 Hans Crescent, Knightsbridge, London, SW1X 0LZ, UK
HOW TO ENTER
The Competition will run from 09:00 am (GMT) on 15th February 2024 (the "Opening Date") to 11:59 pm (GMT) on 31st March 2024 (the "Closing Date") inclusive (“Competition Period”).
All Competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than 23:59 on the Closing Date. All Competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
To enter the Competition, participants or adults submitting entries on behalf of participants must follow the specific entry instructions written either:
- In the competition post description found on the social platform before the Closing Date.
- In the teacher communications and found on stemcrew.org before the Closing Date.
The Promoter will not accept:
- responsibility for Competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
By submitting a Competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms.
No other means for entries will be accepted than those set out in the above. Incomplete entries are not valid and will not be accepted.
The Promoter retains the right to exclude participants from participating in the Competition and to delete entries from the social platform if these are not in line with these rules of behaviour or are otherwise in conflict with the Terms.
HOW TO ENTER
1. To enter the INEOS Go Humans Academy design competition, participants should read the entry instructions and download the Template PDF from ineoshygienics.com or stemcrew.org.
2. Designs can be added digitally to the template or scanned from a physical design, and correct entries should ensure their designs stay within the boundaries of the helmet outline.
3. If you are under the age of 18, you must obtain written parental or guardian consent to enter and claim your prize. The Promoter may ask the winner to provide proof of age and/or parental or guardian consent.
4. Participants or adults submitting entries on behalf of participants should then upload entries to the INEOS Go Humans Academy website as a PDF (with a maximum file size of 10 MB).
5. Participants understand that they are not required to pay an entry fee or purchase or use INEOS products to enter this Promotion.
6. Any entrant of this Promotion (promoted via Meta or TikTok or the INEOS website or retail partner or stemcrew.org) is subject to the relevant terms of each company or platform’s terms and conditions
7. Participants’ entries will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to remove any posts if any such entry:
- a. Contains defamatory, malicious, indecent, offensive or other inappropriate content.
- b. In the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, could cause any offence.
- c. Is a duplication or multiple entry. One entry per person is valid.
- d. Includes another brand’s IP, livery or insignia
ELIGIBILITY
The Competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 11 to 18 years, except:
- employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
- employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Competition or its administration; or
- members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
In entering the Competition, you confirm that you or the young person you’re submitting an entry on behalf of are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize. The Promoter may require you, or the young person you’re submitting an entry for, to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.
The Promoter will not accept Competition entries that are: (a) automatically generated by artificial intelligence; (b) completed by third parties or in bulk; or (c) incomplete or (d) not within the age group of the competition boundaries (11-18).
There is a limit of one entry to the Competition per person. Adults may submit entries on behalf of a young person. Joint submissions are not allowed.
The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Competition.
THE PRIZE
The prizes available to be won for this Competition are as follows:
- There will be three (3) winners for the UK element of this competition.
- The prize packages consist of each age group’s design to be created into a helmet, which will be photographed with Sir Lewis Hamilton at a Grand Prix event in 2024
- Additional prizes include Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 merchandise and experiences.
Winners will be chosen across three age categories:
- 11-14
- 14-16
- 16-18
Any costs incurred that are incidental to the fulfilment of the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winners.
Finalists and winners will be chosen by a judging panel consisting of experts across design, as well as representatives from INEOS and Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1. The selection of judges and this process is at the discretion of the competition promoter.
The winner, or the adult who submitted their entry, must provide proof of age e.g. a letter from the young person’s school, ID card etc. All personal details can be omitted for privacy reasons.
The winner is responsible for all expenses associated with the Prize (such as accidental damage during postage) and these expenses will not be reimbursed by the Promoter.
Prizes are subject to availability. The Prize cannot be exchanged for another prize or cash. The Prize is personal and non-transferable.
The Promoter reserves the right to modify or withdraw the Prize. The alternative prize will be of at least an equivalent or greater value.
Prizes that are not redeemed for whatever reason remain the property of the Promoter. In case of a rejection of a Prize, the Prize also falls to the Promoter.
WINNERS
The winner will be selected by a panel consisting of INEOS, INEOS Go Humans Academy and Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 stakeholders within 1 week of the Closing Date. This panel will be constructed at the discretion of INEOS, this competition promoter. The promoter will notify and instruct the winner(s) within 2 weeks after the competition closure.
The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Competition, using direct messages or email address provided via direct messages by the Competition winner(s). The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the Competition entry form has been submitted.
CLAIMING THE PRIZE
The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner or the adult who submitted their entry. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 7 days of the draw, the panel will select a new winner.
Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the Prize.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in

By participating in the Competition, you acknowledge that your name and e‐mail address will be made available to the Promoter.
Please note that we will require a consent form to be completed by parents/carers for the winners before the information submitted to the Competition is shared with other third parties (e.g. media connections). The Promoter’s team will be in touch with finalists to collect the parent/carer consent form.
GENERAL
If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Competition.
If the Promoter has grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of cheating, deception or fraudulent or un-sportsman-like conduct of any kind (including, without limitation, manipulating the Competition or any entry), the Promoter reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any entrant, entry or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with such activity.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition at any time and where it becomes necessary to do so.
These Terms shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
