Innovation is at our heart. "Ineo" is Latin for a new beginning, "Eos" is the Greek goddess of dawn, and "neos" is Greek for something new and innovative. ‘INEOS’ represents the “DAWN OF SOMETHING NEW AND INNOVATIVE".

The brand was founded by entrepreneur Sir Jim Ratcliffe in 2020. When the coronavirus pandemic led to a global shortage of hand sanitiser, Sir Jim decided that he wanted to go about manufacturing and distributing the large volumes needed to meet the shortfall.
Thanks to a rock-solid infrastructure and decades of know-how, it took us just 10 days to open six factories across Europe. After three months, we were producing one million bottles of sanitiser throughout the UK, Germany, France and the US to support the global demand.
Our first course of action was to supply the UK’s NHS and other European health services without profit during the global crisis. We tried to do our bit while we all navigated through exceptional circumstances.
After demand was met by fundamental institutions, we created INEOS Science + Performance: our first line of hygiene products which today spans everything, from sanitiser and hand wash to household cleaning and laundry detergent products.

We source ingredients with a plant origin wherever we can. The surfactants used in our cleaning products are from plant-derived, sustainable sources, and it is these surfactants which give our products their cleaning properties.

All fragranced products within our portfolio contain ‘INEOS Active Fragrance’. This fragrance tech includes performance enhancing fragrance notes and phytoncides.
Phytoncides are biological particles emitted by plants and trees naturally, which have been shown to inhibit bacteria development and have been credited for their antioxidant and wellbeing properties.

The numbers relate to a fragrance’s position within the INEOS Fragrance Laboratory™ and their location is based on their performance enhancing benefit.

We conduct product stability testing to assess the efficacy of this product and the expiry date is dictated by this data. Therefore, unfortunately we can't guarantee that the product would be efficacious past this expiry date.

Our Laundry Liquids, Fabric Conditioner, Washing Up Liquid & Hand Wash are all suitable for sensitive skin.

As with many great smelling products, our products do contain low concentrations of allergens common within allergen listings. Please refer to the back of pack ingredients for listed declarable allergens.
Within our Laundry Liquid & Fabric Conditioner range, we do offer a Cotton + Linen Breeze fragrance which is allergen free and hypoallergenic for those who are extra sensitive to fragrance.

There are no parabens present in any of our products.

There are no phthalates present in any of our products.

Under normal conditions of use, as per product labels, our products are expected to be suitable for use with septic tanks. However, we recommend consulting with a septic system specialist to check compatibility.

Laundry Liquid + Fabric Conditioner + Household Cleaning Sprays + Washing Up Liquid: All packaging elements are recyclable in household recycling (even the trigger sprays & caps!)

Household Cleaning Wipes & Cleansing Hygiene Wipes: The outer laminate can be recycled with carrier bags at larger stores. The wipes themselves are 100% biodegradable and should be disposed of in normal household waste. They will typically biodegrade within 12 weeks! Do not flush!

Laundry Capsules: The box is recyclable in household recycling.
3L Laundry Box: The cardboard outer box and tap can be recycled in household recycling. The inner bag can be recycled with carrier bags at larger stores.

Hand Wash (Bottles) + Sanitiser Gel + Sanitiser Sprays: The bottles can be recycled in household recycling. Unfortunately, the pumps + caps are not recyclable at current time and should be disposed of in normal household waste.

Hand Wash (Refills): Recycle with carrier bags at larger stores.

We currently offer 1L Hand Wash Refills and 3L Laundry Refills but watch this space as we hope to offer refills for all our products in the future!

Our products are never tested on animals. We believe that hygiene products should all be cruelty free. That’s why we are proud to be Leaping Bunny approved. Global programme, Leaping Bunny, requires cruelty free standards over and above legal requirements and is the recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products internationally.

All products are vegan with the exception of Fabric Conditioner and Sanitiser Sprays. We are working with our suppliers to ensure that these products will also be vegan in the very near future.

Currently none of our products are certified organic.
